Volunteering Surveys

Developing a Volunteering Strategy

Volunteers are a valuable asset for Dumfries and Galloway developing local communities, delivering services and supporting the local economy.

Third Sector Dumfries and Galloway are developing a volunteering strategy for the region. To help with this process we are carrying out surveys to help map current volunteering across the region.

If you are a volunteer, please help us by completing our online survey. It doesn’t matter whether you volunteer every week, just occasionally or if you help in the local charity shop, at the school or are a volunteer board member – whatever you do we want to hear about it.

The survey is anonymous and will only take 5 minutes to complete – but all the information will help inform volunteering in the region going forward.

We also need help from volunteer involving organisations. Information from all organisations whether big or small, local or national, with a few volunteers or hundreds of volunteers will help us build a picture of the volunteering which is being carried out within the region.

If you represent a volunteer involving organisation, please take 5 minutes to complete the survey.

With your help, together we can make Dumfries and Galloway a great place to volunteer.
