Vacancy – Policy Officer

Third Sector Dumfries and Galloway are currently looking for a Policy and Research Office

The Policy Officer monitors policy on subjects related to the role of the third sector in society, health and social care integration, community planning and socio-economic regeneration.

The Policy Officer will work directly with the Chief Executive and Communications Manager and will work alongside the Engagement team and the Operations Manager to ensure effective two-way communication between the third sector and statutory partners, to inform the development of policy and process within Dumfries and Galloway. They will take a lead role in co-ordinating the organisation’s inputs, and those of the wider third sector, to Community Planning and Health and Social Care Integration.

The post will cover 21 hours, and the salary scale is £21,036 – £23,816 pro rata.
