A new project, funded by Macmillan Cancer Support in partnership with Scottish Partnership for Palliative Care, is just getting off the ground.
The Truacanta Project is taking a community development approach to the ‘compassionate communities’ movement and is looking for interested people or groups with an idea for their community to put forward expressions of interest and ideas.
The project will work with a number of potential projects to develop a full proposal for their idea and from those four will be selected to be taken forward.

Interested community groups and organisations are invited to express their interest in being part of the project by June 15.
