Support for Scotland’s Charter for a Tobacco-free Generation

Quit Your Way Dumfries and Galloway are asking organisations to help strengthen the region’s presence on Scotland’s Charter for a Tobacco-free Generation and in turn support people and their service in becoming smoke-free.

Scotland’s Charter is an initiative to help reduce the harm caused by smoking and deliver a tobacco-free generation by 2034.

Over 380 organisations have pledged action to help.

The aim of the Charter is to:

  • inspire organisations to take action to reduce the harm caused by tobacco;
  • raise awareness of the goal of creating a tobacco-free generation of Scots by 2034 and;
  • support organisations whose work impacts on children, young people and families to address the issues.
