Opportunity to contribute to a collaborative third sector bid for EU INTERREG funding – development of health and wellbeing hubs.
Third Sector Dumfries and Galloway are keen to facilitate and co-ordinate a collaborative third sector bid for a share of the 2014-2020 EU INTERREG VA Programme’s 3.27 million Euro funding for the development of health and well-being hubs in Dumfries and Galloway. The programme is designed to support people in improving their health and well-being, particularly around the areas of physical activity, nutrition, smoking cessation, alcohol misuse and mental health. In total, eight hubs will be developed across Northern and Southern Ireland and Scotland; two of the Hubs will be located in Dumfries & Galloway.
This exciting project will connect third sector partners to the development and delivery of these community-based health and well-being hubs and is an excellent opportunity for the third sector to make a significant contribution to the development of health and well-being improvement and sustainability in our region.
We invite interested partners to attend a public meeting to explore a collaborative bid submission and to discuss how organisations can contribute to this project.:
