Staff from across Dumfries and Galloway Health and Social Care Partnership, including the third sector, are invited to learn about SAM – a sustainability and modernisation (SAM) programme.
SAM aims to promote and drive local change in delivering the best services in the most efficient way and, crucially, by capturing and measuring the benefits – whether that is quality, productivity or financial.
As a Partnership, it needs to be secure in the knowledge that it is using its budget wisely, encouraging staff to openly talk about finances and the challenges faced, while protecting the quality of services being delivered.
Open sessions are being held across the region this month with staff being encouraged to go along and take part in discussions and find out how to get involved.
For those unable to attend a session, the Partnership will be circulating a recording following the tour. In addition, should any of the tour dates or times prove inconvenient, it is possible to arrange to meet with teams at a more convenient time.
Should you have any queries please direct these to firstname.lastname@example.org
Please Note: For those attending the session at The Bridge, Glasgow Road, Dumfries, overflow parking is provided at Cuckoo Bridge Retail Park (the Tesco section has a two-hour limit). Please refrain from parking in the King George the V Academy car park.
