If you want to be taught to recognise the signs of someone at risk of suicide and be able to let them connect with suicide intervention resources, there is an opportunity to attend a safeTALK training taking place at Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary in Dumfries on Friday March 27 from 10am-1pm or 1.30pm-4.30pm.
safeTALK prepares participants to activate a suicide alert by following the TALK (Tell, Ask, Listen and KeepSafe) steps.
To book a place, you must complete a form and send it by email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Note that for organisations, place will be limited to a maximum four per course unless by agreement and the course is on a first come, first served basis.
The form is available here: safeTALK booking form.
