Today is the last day to register to take part in an informal meeting with public participation in Dumfries on proposals to create a South of Scotland enterprise agency.
The views of those living in the South of Scotland will be heard by the Rural Economy and Connectivity Committee when it visits Dumfries to examine the process on Monday January 14.
At 4pm to 5.30pm, members of the public can give their views directly to the Committee of MSPs at Easterbrook Hall.
A formal committee meeting will then be held at 6.30pm to 8.30pm in Easterbrook Hall where the local councils for Dumfries and Galloway and Scottish Borders, along with other South of Scotland organisations, will give evidence. Members of the public will be able to book their seat to watch that meeting in the public gallery.
To attend the informal discussions with MSPs, email South.ScotlandEnterpriseAgency@parliament.scot by today and indicate you would like to attend the Dumfries event.
For FREE tickets to watch the formal Committee meeting, contact the Scottish Parliament’s Visitor Services on email: email@example.com or by phone: 0131 348 5200 or freephone 0800 092 7600.
