The first of two engagement sessions on a new three-year national Social Enterprise Action Plan will be held next week.
The Scottish Government will be producing a new plan for the sector from April 2020.
Senscot, in partnership with Social Firms Scotland and the Scottish Community Alliance, is hosting the engagement gatherings in the region, supported by Third Sector Dumfries and Galloway.
The first is on Wednesday (23rd) at Sanquhar Town Hall from 10.30am to 12pm. Book a place here: bit.ly/2kZerZF
The second is in Castle Douglas at the community centre on Friday November 1 from 10.30am to 12pm. To book go online to: bit.ly/2n8dAH3
These will provide an opportunity for grassroot social enterprises to feed in their wishes, ambitions and priorities for the next Action Plan.
As well as identifying specific ‘actions’ from across the sector, there will also be an opportunity to look at the general approach taken in delivering the next Action Plan – ensuring it can better meet the needs of locally-based social enterprises
