Corra Foundation has announced the #ShiftthePowerScotland Comic Relief Programme. This is a unique and exciting opportunity for community led groups to make a difference by focusing on four areas:

  • Children Survive & Thrive
Early years development for children facing disadvantage.
  • Gender Justice
Contributing to gender equality by reducing violence and discrimination based on gender and sexuality.
  • A Safe Place to Be
Supporting people who have experienced homelessness or have been forced from their homes in order to live safely.
  • Mental Health Matters
Improving mental health provision and tackling stigma around mental health.

Corra will be heading out to meet with people and hear directly about their potential ideas.  There will be four sessions across Scotland in August and September and as well as listening to community groups they will also offer advice and bit more detail on the process.

The programme is open to community led organisations and charities with an income of £250,000 or less.
