A new fund will run for the next two years in connection with the Robin Rigg wind farm in the Solway Firth.
As part of the consenting process for the E-On development, a local 10-year Community Benefit Fund was created ending this year.
The new fund, the Robin Rigg Community Fund, will now run to 2022 with the first deadline coming up in December.
Solway Firth Partnership will be administering the fund on both sides of the Solway.
The Robin Rigg Community Fund is available to community groups and organisations in the Solway area undertaking activities that contribute to the reduction of the effects of climate change or otherwise benefit the local community.
The deadline for applications to the first round of the Robin Rigg Community Fund will be 5pm on Thursday December 12. Further applications may be invited during 2020 if funds are available.
