November continues busy run up towards festive season

November is another busy month for Third Sector Dumfries and Galloway with roadshows, free workshops, an open day, and the annual general meeting.

The first support roadshow takes us to Collin on Thursday November 14. Join us at the village hall from 4pm-7pm and we also have a free Introduction to Good Governance Workshop, which can be booked at:

Lockerbie Town Hall welcomes us for the next roadshow on Tuesday November 19 with drop ins available from 12pm-3pm.

On Thursday November 21, we visit Kirkcowan with drop ins available at the village hall from 1.30pm to 4pm. Again, the Introduction to Good Governance Workshop is available at this event and can be booked here:

The following day it is Third Sector Dumfries and Galloway’s AGM. This year the event takes place at Dumfries YMCA (Nov 22) at 11am. Members can confirm their place at:

On Thursday November 28, we have two events. In our Dumfries office, we have our annual open day. Come in and see us and find out more about Third Sector Dumfries and Galloway from 10am to 3pm and meet other third sector organisations, also visiting for the day.

Our other event is our final support roadshow of the month, this time excitingly at the Old Smiddy in Balmaclellan.

The roadshow will be one of the first events to be held at the Old Smiddy, in fact their “opening day” is the 29th so this is a great chance to come and have a look around. We are there from 11am to 2pm and ready for you to drop by.

Another date for your diary early in December is the Children, Young People & Power conference. Interested in getting young people involved with your organisation? Interested in having a say on the future Children’s Services plan for Dumfries and Galloway? Then this event on Wednesday December 4 is for you. Book now at:
