New members sought for Equality and Human Rights Commission Scotland Committee

The Equality and Human Rights Commission in Scotland is seeking applications to fill four vacancies on its committee.

They are looking for people from a wide variety of backgrounds and life experience, who have a passion and commitment to furthering equality in Scotland.

They are particularly looking to broaden the interests, diversity and character of the Committee to ensure their work continues to reflect Scotland’s society.

Applications are welcomed from individuals whose lived or professional experience can make a valuable and distinctive contribution to the Commission’s work in Scotland, especially from people who belong to groups currently underrepresented on the Committee, including disabled people, LGBT people, young people and Black and ethnic minority people.
