A volunteer and two members of Leonard Cheshire support staff from Glencaple will undertake a gruelling challenge to tour across Scotland and visit every one of the 42 Scottish Professional Football League clubs in the country in an effort to raise funds for the charity.
At each club, the three – Ali Cronie, Susan Leslie and Stewart Kerr – will do a fun walk/run around the pitch or stadium and in return receive items of club merchandise, including signed footballs, team shirts and match tickets.
A charity auction will then be held on Saturday April 20 at 8pm on Saturday in the function room at Queen of the South FC at Palmerston Park.
The five-day fundraising challenge will take place between April 1-5.
The team said: “We believe everybody should have a chance to get active so our aim is to raise funds to develop a hobbies room at Leonard Cheshire’s Glencaple
service and to purchase sensory equipment for the residents.”
The team’s target is £5000 and you can donate at LINK – 3dothe42
