Dumfries and Galloway Citizens Advice Service has appointed Katie Dyet as their new Communications and Volunteer Development Manager.
She will drive the communications strategy and volunteer recruitment and development campaign, while also helping to deliver the corporate and operational plans.
Chief executive Phil Stewart said: “She brings with her a new perspective and considerable leadership and management experience from private industry.
“With Katie’s current volunteer experience, there is no doubt she will help raise the profile of Dumfries and Galloway Citizens Advice Service. She will be a great point of contact for new and existing volunteers.”
Katie added: “At Dumfries and Galloway Citizens Advice Service, we believe no one should have to face problems without good quality, independent, free advice. Our team of dedicated staff and volunteers give people the knowledge and confidence they need to find their way forward, no matter the problem.
