The IT Centre in Castle Douglas seeks new trustees

Castle Douglas Community IT Centre is looking for new trustees.

The charity provides practical help and support to people of all ages and abilities.

In an increasingly digitally-dependent world, it helps them get to grips with technology, thus reducing social and rural isolation, improving skills, reducing poverty and increasing their chances of gaining employment.

Established in Castle Douglas 23 years ago, the charity provides training in its base within the Community Centre and also in a number of outreach locations throughout The Stewarty.

It is now looking for people who share its aims to join the Board of Directors, especially those with experience in marketing, finance and/or funding applications.

There are six meetings per year (including the AGM), held in Castle Douglas or online where applicable.
