Old Luce Development Trust is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced person/business to undertake a site options appraisal, full business plan and costings for the development of a new GP Surgery.
As a result of concerns raised in regards to the longer-term presence and viability of the G.P. Surgery in Glenluce, the Trust – with unanimous public support – has decided to investigate the feasibility of constructing new, purpose built, premises.
The Trust has identified a preferred site for the new G.P. premises consisting of the site of the current G.P Surgery and a neighbouring area of unused land.
The Trust are currently awaiting the outcome of funding applications to both the Old Luce Community Trust and the Scottish Land Fund and the work in the tender document and the successful Tender submission will be offered as a fixed-term contract, dependent on the Trust securing the funding to carry out the work (decision expected by February 26 2020).
This requirement has led to the release of this Invitation. Following this process, Old Luce Development Trust will award a contract to the successful bidder to undertake the work required to complete a fully costed Business Case.
