Free training across the south of Scotland
Age Scotland are offering free training days for older people’s groups and services, and for veterans’ groups and services that include older people. These will build participants’ confidence and ability to work with older veterans and older people affected by dementia.

In the morning Age Scotland’s Early Stage Dementia project will raise participants’ awareness of early stage dementia,. The afternoon will raise awareness of the older veterans’ community, their rights and entitlements and additional support available to them: in particular coming from the Unforgotten Forces partnership. The day will be interactive, with lunch provided.
