Finalists revealed for Dumfries and Galloway VOscars

It’s now just over a week until this year’s Dumfries and Galloway VOscars.

The awards ceremony will be held next Thursday (June 6) at Castle Douglas Town Hall.

The event coincides with Volunteers’ Week, which starts on Saturday, and will celebrate the fantastic achievements of volunteers and third sector organisations across Dumfries and Galloway.

A large number of entries for eight categories came in from across the region before the deadline.

Individual judging panels then selected three shortlisted finalists in each category, as follows:
