Round 8 of the Energy Redress Scheme has launched and contains £13 million in funding to help support vulnerable energy consumers and reduce fuel poverty.
Energy Saving Trust has been appointed by Ofgem to distribute payments from energy companies who may have breached rules.
Registered charities can apply for funds to deliver energy related projects that meet the scheme priorities and benefit people in England Scotland and Wales.
The Energy Redress Scheme is open to supporting a wide range of different activities. It can provide capital or revenue funding and can provide up to 100% of the project cost. It can fund projects lasting up to 2 years and the minimum grant request is £20,000.
The deadline for applications to Round 8 is 5pm on Thursday 30 July 2020.
