The Dumfries and Galloway Health Board Endowment Fund have announced that their funding round will be annual and the application review will be in September of each year.
Application forms are available on the website and through the Endowment Operational Manager, Nick Mitchell.
Nick can review an application in the first instance provided that they are with him before Wednesday July 1, with final drafts being with him by Friday July 10.
What they do
The Dumfries and Galloway Health Board Endowment Fund is committed to reducing the inequalities in health across the region. They enhance the work undertaken by the Health Board by supporting community health projects as well as other third sector organisations that provide services complimentary to the NHS. The fund believe that the money provided by supporters is used effectively in targeting areas where the need is greatest which are identified by both the Trustees and the wider community.
To receive funding from DGHB Endowment Fund, all applications must meet our main eligibility criteria:
- The proposed project or purchase will benefit patient care.
- The funding will be used to provide additionality over and above what NHS core funding can.
- The grant will pass public scrutiny with regards to use of charitable funds.
