Community Connect is a new initiative that will allow Scotmid members to make a difference in their communites.
You don’t have to be a member of Scotmid to apply, but only members will be able to vote.
All three member areas in Scotland – North, East and West – will each shortlist three good cause groups, who are looking for funding in their relevant geographical area. All three of the good cause groups shortlisted will receive a share of £25,000. The funds of £15,000, £5,000 and £5,000 will be allocated based on the votes received.
Your cause and your Initiative needs to be in keeping with Scotmid Co-operative values and principles and benefit communities within the geographic boundaries of a Scotmid Co-operative or Semichem store
Orojects which fall broadly into one of the following categories will be prioritised:
- Children & Youth
- 65+ Group
