With additional funding from Scottish Government for 2019/2020, the Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations (SCVO) is set to launch a fifth round of the Community Capacity & Resilience Fund (CCRF).
With funding of £140,00 available, frontline voluntary sector organisations who are tackling the impact of welfare reform and have an annual income of £250k or less, will have the opportunity to apply for small grants up to £7.5k to deliver new short term projects that that help people mitigate the impact of welfare reform by providing them with the support and skills they need.
The aim of the fund is to support organisations to mitigate the impact of poverty and welfare reform where there currently isn’t the capacity or resources, therefore unfortunately, the CCRF cannot fund any existing work, core costs or management fees.
Those wishing to apply must show that their project will:
- Expand/develop the organisations capacity in order to meet demand relating to welfare reform
- Help bring organisations together in partnership to support people
- Develop people’s ability to prevent themselves from reaching crisis point
The closing date for applications is 13th December 2019 at 5pm.
