Community Assets Fund closes to new applicants on October 4

Grants from £10,000 to £1 million to create strong and resilient communities through assets will no longer be available from a community fund beyond October 4.

Community Assets is closing to new applications on that date when it will be the last chance to make an initial enquiry and start the application process.

Community Assets aims to help local communities to address specific inequalities or disadvantages through ownership of an asset.

Successful applicants must show they consulted with their communities, considered various options to meet their needs and then selected the best option. Work should also be people-led, strengths-based and connected.

There is no application form and the first step is to talk to them about your idea for advice on whether or not the funding is right for what you want to do. If so they will then normally arrange to visit you.

Contact them at advicescotland@tnlcommunityfund.org.uk or on 0300 123 7110 to discuss your idea, or for any other questions about this funding.
