Busy month ahead with free workshops and support across Dumfries and Galloway

Autumn has been a busy time for the team at Third Sector Dumfries and Galloway and October continues this trend with lots of great events to bring you across the region.

First up, on Wednesday October 23, we have our monthly support roadshows to Sanquhar along with a consultation event and free workshop.

Senscot will be with us at the town hall from 10.30am to 12pm for you to have your say on a future Social Enterprise Sector in Scotland Action Plan, which is due to be finalised in April. To book a place at this event go to: bit.ly/2kZerZF

On the same day, a free Creativity and Innovation Workshop will be held from 12pm-1pm to help you think outside the box when looking for a creative solution to a problem or issue. You can book your place here: bit.ly/2n7buqF

Third Sector Dumfries and Galloway’s engagement officers and funding officer will also be at the town hall from 10am to 1pm to offer organisations, groups and volunteers any advice or support they might need.

The following day, Thursday October 24, we will be at Kirkcolm Village Hall from 1.30pm to 4pm where again our officers will be able to help with any support or advice required.

The following Thursday, October 31, we arrive in Moffat when we will be offering the free Creativity and Innovation Workshop at the town hall from 10am-11am. Place are still available to book online at: bit.ly/2lZPoFV

Once again, our team will also be available in the town hall between 11am and 1pm to answer any questions you may have concerning the third sector, funding or volunteering.

Our final support event stretches into November, when on Friday 1st, we are at Castle Douglas Community Centre for another busy day.
