Six organisations within Dumfries and Galloway have been given funding from Awards for All.
Aeriel CIC received £10,000 to run music workshops for adults with complex needs in rural areas of Dumfries and Galloway.
Annandale Community Transport Services also received £10,000 to continue providing accessible community transport to individuals and groups within the Annandale and Eskdale area.
Dumfries and Galloway Schools’ Netball Association will get £6000 to run festival days and further develop coaching and umpiring skills in young people from across the region.
Dumfries Get Together will use £6240 to rent an accessible space for women to meet and socialise in on a regular basis.
A further £10,000 goes to Lochside Community Association to continue running their Grub Club project, which provides a nutritious meal and activities for children and their families in the area.
McFarlan Memorial Hall at Clarencefield will also receive £10,000 to fit a new kitchen in the village hall, install low-energy lighting and to lower the kitchen ceiling to save on heating.
