Arts Trust in Dumfries and Galloway awarded £70,000 of Lottery funding

The Glenkens Community and Arts Trust has been given £70,000 of National Lottery Funding through Creative Scotland.

The Open Project Fund award will go towards the delivery of year-round provision of arts programming for the communities of the Glenkens until August next year from the Arts Trust, which runs the Catstrand Arts and Visitor Centre.

A diverse range of theatre, music, dance, literature events, cinema and arts participation projects will be programmed and delivered over the 12-month period.

The project aims to reach a more diverse audience and broaden GCAT’s offer to the communities of the Glenkens.
